Great idea Deb you could really expand on this idea. If your looking for cutters to cut the inside circle/square, check out Kemper Cutters.
Postage from the States isn't bad, just remember to ask for Global Priority Flat Rate Envelope $11 for 4 lbs or Box for $37 for 20 lbs. I get pretty much everything sent this way, even Polymer Clay Express will post in them you just have to ask.

Pricing is tricky. $10-$12 is probably a good wholesale price, put a swanky label on them, get a nice stand to display them on and take them to some optometrists, they'de easily get twice that for them retail...and they're the ideal market place for them.
Be sure your label says handcrafted in there somewhere.
I like Frances idea of making them double up as a pendant too...that way when someone moves onto fulltime glasses they still get to wear it.

Thanks Charlotte and Mel for the great tips. I'm filing it all away for future reference! I've given three away but i made a sale today...the first sale for the Optipin! lol
It was for one of mums nursing friends so i only charged her $12, but i'm still happy. :)
I'm off to check out the kemper cutters now.... Thanks Char!
