some new fun stuff first of all...I posted a ton of MG in the competition folder so look there for that :D
this first one is a bracelet I made using one of the forms Mel sent me. so this is half america and half aussie cuff :D
this puppy is as smooth as a baby's bare butt and I am in love with the chatoyance er....however you spell that word, of the gold kato.
the next picture is a few rings I made...using the same technique as the cuff bracelet. they rang from size 4-8. I think they are fun!
this final item is a fused dichroic pendant Star of David.
thanks for looking

Far out Kathi...nice to see you use that bracelet form so quickly. Funnily enough, that aluminium bracelet form is originally from the US...I got a pile of them from Melanie West once and still have a few left over...(for those of you who don't know her, check out her fabulous bracelets http://ravensclay.blogspot.com/ )
Love the patterns and colours you used on them all. And that dichroic star of david is awesome.

Love the bracelet/bangle/cuff? and rings, Kathi. Is it completely round or is there an opening. Territory I haven't venutured into 'yet'. I guess copper or brass would do as a form as well?
Thanks for that link too Mel. Been seeing lots of PC bangles around flickr etc lately but nothing like those 'nudibranch' ones - love 'em.

Thanks Mel....gotta love the traveling cuff forms eh? I have some that are a bit wider that I will attempt covering whe I have used the skinny ones ;) And as for the colours and patterns....I did it all from mixing up scraps of clay and making pretty new colours.
Thanks so much Erin. The cuff form is just a strip of aluminum shaped into a C....of course leaving a wee gap to slide the wrist through. the rings are a full circle..

Kathi that bracelet is stunning. I haven't been able to master making bangles with a cuff form/base so I admire anyone that can!!
Thanks for the link Mel......more eye-candy to look through!!

thanks so much Dani :) Practice and very light hands when placing the clay on the top.
