 Finally made something new!
I have sold all of my pieces in the Gallery and they requested some new work...so this was the best incentive to get back to my clay deask i have been intrigued with the french provincial theme still,so made other pieces along thos e lines.

They're fabulous pieces Maria, I love the colour choices too, they look so rich next to the white. Glad yo're claying again.

Maria, no wonder you sold your pieces. These new ones are just as beautiful and they won't last long either I am sure. Looks like you've settled into your new place and are getting stuck into claying again which is great for all of us who love to see your work!
I finally found a place and moved last weekend. Phew! Onwards and upwards....

Thankyou everyone for your kind comments.
Janet,it is a hidden Mokume Gane/mica shift combination that I use to get this effect.
A very shrp tissue lade is essential...hence cuts in fingers!!!

Hey Maria,These are totally awesome. I especially love the way you have put them together. I think that can either make or break a beautiful piece of clay work.

I enjoy the vividness of the Indian-inspired fabrics of Provence: brick reds, bright yellows and ochres. You've captured that beautifully, Maria.
