Hi Kathi, I've never heard of it actually. Is it a different brand of polymer clay?

They are raving about it across the ocean, but it seems to be more a marketing ploy IMHO. It seems the large numbers of lovely colours is certainly going to make project work easier - but I can just imagine the budget blow-outs trying to stock a variety.
It's German and exchange rate is an issue. it ships in glass jars - shipping weight is another issue. Not sure whether there are plastic boxes yet. From what I heard, the clay is soft to work with, but canes well.
Does anyone stock it in Australia yet?

Post Pardo
I bought Pardo a few weeks back to give it a go. The exchange rate helped greatly, and postage was not too bad. It smells nice, easy to condition - hardly any at all. Does not have an odour when cooking. I like the idea that it is more natural.

Only got 10 colours to have a try. Unfortunately, due to the fact that my computer does not have great resolution, I got a couple of similar colours. Haven't tried them all yet, but so far I like them.

I usually use Kato because it gets hot where I live, but gee it takes some conditioning lately. (maybe I am getting old!!) Pardo comes in balls which I found odd, but is really quite useful if you are making smaller jewellery items. Love the jars they come in as they are useful for holding beads after! It is the same weight as the blocks, even though it kind of looks less. Haven't tried it in a cane yet, but info says it can be mixed with other clays as well, which I have done with no bad side effects! Over all, with the little I have made with it, I like it, especially the conditioning.

Why is pardo more natural - it's still a polymer clay. I'm puzzled.
